Allentown Municipal & Government organizations deserve a site that signals credibility.
Serving Allentown, Pennsylvania.
Allentown residents deserve a city office website that is clear, accessible, and easy to trust.
- Custom design built for public-sector audiences and their needs
- Mobile-friendly pages residents can navigate from any device
- Accessible layouts that meet public transparency and clarity standards
- Simple content tools so staff can update information quickly
- A real person to work with, remotely, start to finish
What Allentown boroughs, townships and authorities are up against
Allentown is the third largest city in Pennsylvania and one of the fastest changing. More than half the city speaks Spanish at home, the downtown has been rebuilt around new arenas and offices while whole blocks around it have not, and the population has grown while much of the rest of the state shrank.
Allentown area boroughs and townships serve residents in two languages and a downtown that has been rebuilt while surrounding blocks have not. Public notices, permits and meeting times need to reach both sides of that, and a site that assumes English only is failing part of the people paying for it.
Public bodies get judged on whether a resident can find a form, a meeting time and a phone number without calling the office. That is a low bar and most sites still miss it.
A site that earns the minute it gets
Accessible because it has to be
Sites are built to WCAG 2.1 Level AA at delivery, with real heading structure, contrast and keyboard navigation, which is a legal expectation for public bodies rather than a nice extra.
Meetings, notices and minutes
Agendas, minutes and public notices where a resident can actually find them, posted by your secretary without calling anyone.
Mobile first, genuinely
Because a resident looking up a trash schedule or a permit is standing in their kitchen with a phone.
Editable by your staff
Notices and closings posted the morning they happen, which is the whole point of a public site.
I work with organizations across Pennsylvania and the rest of the country from a studio just outside Pittsburgh. Being reachable has never been the hard part, and that is the part I take most seriously.
Working with one person, from Pittsburgh
You are hiring one person, not an agency. I am Scott Rocca, I work out of Bridgeville just outside Pittsburgh, and I do the design, the build, the hosting and the support call myself. Nothing gets handed to a junior and nothing gets outsourced. That is the tradeoff: you will not get a 20 person team, and you will never be handed to someone who does not know your project.
Most builds run three to six weeks depending on how much content is ready. Sites are built to WCAG 2.1 Level AA at delivery and hosted on a private server I administer, not a page builder you rent by the month. You get a straightforward one time build price plus a flat monthly for hosting, updates and support, and I quote it before you commit to anything. If a cheaper option genuinely fits you better, I will say so.
If you are in Allentown and you want to talk it through, email scott@brightpresencedigital.com or call (412) 314-8850. I reply within two business days.
