Bronx nonprofit and church organizations deserve a site that signals credibility.
Serving the Bronx, New York.
Bronx nonprofits and churches need a website that earns trust and moves people to act.
- Custom design built for donors, volunteers, and your community
- Mobile-friendly pages that load quickly on any device
- Easy for your staff to update without technical knowledge
- Clear, credible presentation of your mission and events
- A real person to work with, remotely and responsively
What Bronx organizations are up against
The Bronx has one of the densest concentrations of small congregations anywhere in the country, and many of them meet in storefronts, converted spaces and rented rooms rather than landmark buildings. Alongside worship, a great deal of the borough's pantry, after school and mutual aid work runs out of those same rooms.
For an organization like that, the website is often the only place your hours exist in public. Someone who needs the pantry on a Thursday, or a parent looking for the after school program, checks a phone first. If the page is stale or missing, they assume you closed. A large share of those neighbors read Spanish before English.
You do not need a big site. You need a current one that says plainly who you are, when you are open, what you offer and how to reach an actual person, in the languages the block actually speaks.
A site that earns the minute it gets
Hours a neighbor can trust
Pantry times, service times and program hours in one obvious place, easy for you to change the week they change.
Spanish first where it matters
Key pages written properly in both languages rather than run through a translation widget that mangles them.
Small, fast, and current
A handful of pages that load instantly and stay accurate beats twenty pages nobody maintains.
Editable by your office
Times, events and announcements updated by whoever is in the office that week, without calling anyone.
I work with organizations across the country from Pittsburgh. Distance has not been the hard part in a long time. Being reachable is, and that is the part I take most seriously.
What I will not take custody of
Donations belong on a platform built for donations, such as Classy, Give Lively or Raisin. They handle PCI compliance, receipting and fraud. I build the path to them and make it feel like one organization, and I stay out of the payment rail.
If you run a school or childcare program, student and family records belong in a purpose built system. If you manage client services, that data belongs in case management software with real protections. A website is the wrong place for any of it.
I would rather tell you that up front than sell you something that becomes your problem later.
Working with one person, from Pittsburgh
You are hiring one person, not an agency. I am Scott Rocca, I work out of Bridgeville just outside Pittsburgh, and I do the design, the build, the hosting and the support call myself. Nothing gets handed to a junior and nothing gets outsourced. That is the tradeoff: you will not get a 20 person team, and you will never be handed to someone who does not know your project.
Most builds run three to six weeks depending on how much content is ready. Sites are built to WCAG 2.1 Level AA at delivery and hosted on a private server I administer, not a page builder you rent by the month. You get a straightforward one time build price plus a flat monthly for hosting, updates and support, and I quote it before you commit to anything. If a cheaper option genuinely fits you better, I will say so.
If you are in the Bronx and you want to talk it through, email scott@brightpresencedigital.com or call (412) 314-8850. I reply within two business days.
