Nonprofit & Church Web Design · Erie, PA

Erie Nonprofit & Church organizations deserve a site that signals credibility.

Serving Erie, Pennsylvania.

Nonprofits and churches in Erie, Pennsylvania need a website that builds trust and drives action.

What Erie congregations and nonprofits are up against

Erie is a lake port city that has been losing population for decades while quietly becoming one of the more diverse places in the state through refugee resettlement. Winters are long and hard, which pushes more of the year's activity, and more of the year's searching, onto a phone indoors.

A great deal of Erie's resettlement and social service work runs through congregations and small nonprofits, serving families who arrive with no local network and often little English. Those families check a phone before they walk anywhere, especially in winter.

Donations belong on a platform built for donations. I build the path to them and make it feel like one organization, and I stay out of the payment rail.

A site that earns the minute it gets

What you do, said plainly

Programs, service times, who you serve and how to get involved, written so a newcomer and a funder both understand it fast.

A giving path that keeps trust

A clean, styled handoff to your existing donation platform so nobody stalls at the moment of decision.

Mobile first, genuinely

Because for this kind of organization the overwhelming majority of visits come from a phone.

Editable by your office

Events, announcements and times updated by whoever is in the office, without a developer.

I work with organizations across Pennsylvania and the rest of the country from a studio just outside Pittsburgh. Being reachable has never been the hard part, and that is the part I take most seriously.

Working with one person, from Pittsburgh

You are hiring one person, not an agency. I am Scott Rocca, I work out of Bridgeville just outside Pittsburgh, and I do the design, the build, the hosting and the support call myself. Nothing gets handed to a junior and nothing gets outsourced. That is the tradeoff: you will not get a 20 person team, and you will never be handed to someone who does not know your project.

Most builds run three to six weeks depending on how much content is ready. Sites are built to WCAG 2.1 Level AA at delivery and hosted on a private server I administer, not a page builder you rent by the month. You get a straightforward one time build price plus a flat monthly for hosting, updates and support, and I quote it before you commit to anything. If a cheaper option genuinely fits you better, I will say so.
