Philadelphia Nonprofit & Church organizations deserve a site that signals credibility.
Philadelphia neighborhoods run on their congregations and their nonprofits. The websites rarely show it.

- Mobile-friendly pages that load quickly on any device
- Easy to update for events, giving campaigns, and announcements
- Clean, credible presentation that reflects your mission honestly
- A real person to work with, available remotely and responsive
What I see across Philadelphia congregations and neighborhood nonprofits
Philadelphia is a city of distinct neighborhoods, and in most of them a parish, a congregation or a neighborhood nonprofit is doing work that holds the block together. Food distribution, after school programs, recovery meetings, funerals, tutoring, a hall people can afford to rent. The organization is real and busy.
The website usually does not say any of that. It says the name of the organization, a service time that may or may not be current, and a phone number. Someone new to the neighborhood, or a family looking for help, or a foundation officer checking whether you exist before recommending a grant, all land on the same thin page and leave without learning what you do.
That gap costs real money and real participation, and it is almost never a reflection of the organization. It is a reflection of who had time to build the site.
A site that shows the work
What you actually do, in plain words
Programs, times, who they are for and how to get help, written so a neighbor and a grant officer both understand it quickly.
Service times and the calendar
Current, editable in the office, and readable on a phone, which is where nearly all of this traffic comes from.
A giving path that feels like you
A clean route to your existing donation platform, styled to match, so nobody stalls at the moment they decided to give.
Something to send a funder
A credible page you can put in a grant application without apologizing for it.
Every site I build is at least half different from every other site I build, so your congregation does not end up looking like a template three other organizations in the city are also using.
Where the money goes, and what I refuse to hold
Donations run through a platform built for donations, such as Classy, Give Lively or Raisin. They carry the PCI compliance, the receipting and the fraud handling. I build the path to them and make it feel seamless, and I stay out of the payment rail entirely.
If your organization runs a school or a childcare program, student and family records belong in a system built for that, not in a website. If you handle client data for a social service program, that belongs in a case management system with the right protections.
My job is the public face of the organization. Anything regulated gets linked to, not absorbed.
What it is like to work with one person
You are hiring one person, not an agency. I am Scott Rocca, I work out of Bridgeville just outside Pittsburgh, and I do the design, the build, the hosting and the support call myself. Nothing gets handed to a junior and nothing gets outsourced. That is the tradeoff: you will not get a 20 person team, and you will never be handed to someone who does not know your project.
Most builds run three to six weeks depending on how much content is ready. Sites are built to WCAG 2.1 Level AA at delivery and hosted on a private server I administer, not a page builder you rent by the month. You get a straightforward one time build price plus a flat monthly for hosting, updates and support, and I quote it before you commit to anything. If a cheaper option genuinely fits you better, I will say so.
