Nonprofit & Church Web Design · San Jose, CA

San Jose Nonprofit & Church organizations deserve a site that signals credibility.

Serving San Jose, California.

Nonprofits and churches in San Jose need a website that builds trust and inspires action.

What San Jose congregations and nonprofits are up against

San Jose sits in Silicon Valley with large Vietnamese and Spanish speaking populations, an expensive housing market that pushes members outward, and a workforce that moves in and out of the region constantly.

A lot of the people finding you arrived for a job within the last year and will decide within a month whether they belong anywhere here. That window is short and it happens on a phone.

Donations belong on a platform built for donations, such as Classy, Give Lively or Raisin. They handle PCI compliance, receipting and fraud. I build the path to them and make it feel like one organization, and I stay out of the payment rail.

A site that earns the minute it gets

For people who just arrived

What a first visit looks like, for someone who moved here for work and is deciding where they belong.

A giving path that keeps trust

A clean, styled handoff to your existing donation platform so nobody stalls at the moment of decision.

Mobile first, genuinely

Because for this kind of organization the overwhelming majority of visits come from a phone.

Editable by your office

Events, announcements and times updated by whoever is in the office, without calling a developer.

I work with organizations across the country from a studio just outside Pittsburgh. Distance has not been the hard part in a long time. Being reachable is, and that is the part I take most seriously.

Working with one person, from Pittsburgh

You are hiring one person, not an agency. I am Scott Rocca, I work out of Bridgeville just outside Pittsburgh, and I do the design, the build, the hosting and the support call myself. Nothing gets handed to a junior and nothing gets outsourced. That is the tradeoff: you will not get a 20 person team, and you will never be handed to someone who does not know your project.

Most builds run three to six weeks depending on how much content is ready. Sites are built to WCAG 2.1 Level AA at delivery and hosted on a private server I administer, not a page builder you rent by the month. You get a straightforward one time build price plus a flat monthly for hosting, updates and support, and I quote it before you commit to anything. If a cheaper option genuinely fits you better, I will say so.

If you are in San Jose and you want to talk it through, email scott@brightpresencedigital.com or call (412) 314-8850. I reply within two business days.
