Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 2026.
Our commitment
Bright Presence Digital LLC uses commercially reasonable efforts to design and build websites in substantial conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA at the time of initial delivery.
What that looks like in practice
- Semantic HTML and logical heading order on every page
- Visible keyboard focus rings and a skip-to-main-content link
- Color contrast tested to meet WCAG 2.1 AA (4.5:1 for body text)
- Alt text on informational images; decorative images marked
aria-hidden - Form fields programmatically labeled and error-described
- Content readable at 200% zoom without horizontal scrolling
- Automated Lighthouse and axe-core audits on every significant release
Shared responsibility
For client sites we build and host, ongoing accessibility depends on content the school or organization publishes through the CMS — images they upload, copy they write, PDFs they link to, videos they embed. BPD delivers the accessible foundation; clients are responsible for maintaining accessibility of content they add.
Known gaps
We’re transparent about what we’re still working on:
- Some client-uploaded images may not yet have alt text — we nudge clients to add it but can’t enforce it
- Third-party embeds (Google Maps, Formspree widgets) have their own accessibility posture that we don’t control
- PDFs older than 2024 may not be fully tagged for screen readers
Report a barrier
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this site or on any site we built, please tell us. We commit to:
- Acknowledging your report within 2 business days
- Providing the information you need — or a clear remediation timeline — within 10 business days

Ongoing testing
We test with a combination of automated tools (Lighthouse, axe-core), manual keyboard-only testing, and screen-reader spot checks (NVDA on Windows, VoiceOver on macOS/iOS).
