Children’s Privacy
Last updated: April 2026.
Audience
brightpresencedigital.com is a business-to-business marketing site. It’s not directed at children under 13 and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them.
What we designed our forms to do
- Collect only adult contact information (name, email or phone, organization name, message)
- Never ask for a child’s name, age, grade, photo, or identifier
- Never ask for family contact details that would identify a child
The Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA)
Under COPPA, websites directed at children or that knowingly collect information from children under 13 must obtain verifiable parental consent before collection. This site is designed around COPPA by not collecting such information in the first place.
School client sites
On websites we build for schools, the school — not Bright Presence Digital — is the entity responsible for COPPA-compliant admissions/inquiry flows. Those school sites link out to specialist admissions vendors (Ravenna, Finalsite Admissions, Blackbaud Enrollment) that obtain verifiable parental consent as required.
Parental rights
If you believe your child submitted information on this site, email scott@brightpresencedigital.com with “COPPA” in the subject line. We’ll delete the information and confirm deletion within 10 business days.
